Affirmations vs Afformations

affirmations-versus-afformations

Affirmations are sentences of you being in conscious control of your thoughts. They are short, powerful statements. When you say them, think them or even hear them, they become the thoughts that create and inspire your reality.

Affirmations help purify our thoughts and restructure the dynamic of our brains so that we truly begin to think nothing is impossible. The word affirmation comes from the Latin affirmare, originally meaning “to make steady, strengthen.”

Affirmations do strengthen us by helping us to believe in the potential of an action we desire to manifest. When we verbally affirm our dreams and ambitions, we are instantly empowered with a deep sense of reassurance that our wishful words will become reality.

A great way to turn an affirmation into an ever more powerful tool is to construct it in the form of a question. This is called an afformation.

Afformations are a different way to bring what you want to your life. They leave more room for the subconscious mind to build on the positivity of the question posed.

Here are some examples:

“I am happy so today.” vs “Why am I so happy today?”

“I am feeling good today.” vs “Why am I feeling so good today?”

.”I am a successful woman.” vs “Why am I a successful woman?”

“I am beautiful and intelligent.” vs “Why am I so beautiful and intelligent?”

These two statements come from the same place and may even hold the same intention, but one asks your mind to generate examples, while one remains abstract. With afformations, your mind automatically begins to search for an answer to your question but  the trick is to practice to allow yourself to not answer the question.

To go from where you are to where you want to be requires a shift in your mind and ultimately a change in your reality. It takes a bit of  inspiration to think about what we want to create before feeling ready to see it  manifestly come true in our lives.

WHAT IS CUTTING THE CORD?

beachwalkalchemyw%2fshannon-1

“Cutting cords doesn’t mean. “I don’t love or care about you anymore.” Cord cutting doesn’t necessarily lead to break-ups or abandoned relationships. Is simply means that you are releasing the dysfunctional parts of your relationships. Remember, fear is the opposite of love, and etheric cords (and all attachments) are created from fear.” ~ Doreen Virtue

Most people are not even aware of these energy cords.

A cord is a negative energetic structure that ties you and another person together.  The major cords are formed with lovers, spouses, children, parents, siblings, close friends, sexual abusers, and any sexual partners. The minor cords are often formed with clients, bosses, co-workers, teachers, friends and acquaintances. There are two types of connections when you form a relationship with a person.

The first type of connection is the spiritual and a positive bond that contains energies like unconditional love, fondness, affection and lesson learned together (things like this). This is a cord the we may not sever because it contains all good for us.

The second type of connection is a negative cord of attachment and this energetic structure contains all the negative energies that have ever been a feature of your relationship.  For example, let’s say you have a cord of attachment to an unfaithful ex-boyfriend. Encoded within this cord are the feelings you had when found our he was cheating on you. This could be feelings of rage, paranoia, anger and energies of inadequacy.  When you break up, you may never see each other again but the cord of attachment remains and this cord contains those patterns.  Even though you are supposed to move on from the relationship, those energies circulate between you both and still affect you.

These energies from the cord are flowing into your aura 24/7 and affecting your ability to feel, think or act differently. Another is a person going through a divorce and without realizing it, parents feed these emotions to their children and partners, creating all sorts of problems for everyone.

You will usually be able to tell who you have the most toxic cords with because there will be a certain negativity associated with the relationship, no matter how much you love or respect the person.

When it comes to relationships, cutting the cord can help break the energetic attachments created and can help you to move forward with confidence and clarity forward to receive new opportunities in your life.

We are constantly creating cords with many people and even objects, but if you feel drawn back to an unhealthy relationship, or want to break negative patterns or addictions, or feel a strong psychic connection to someone that is draining your energy, a cord cutting ritual is beneficial.

Cord cutting is a process that severs that negative attachment between you and another person so that the shadow of that past relationship does not hang over you or affect your behavior in the present. You will no longer be overshadowed by negatives energies.  Cutting the cord can help your recharge your energy, feel a sense of peace, can help you let go and can bring about new, pure, and positive opportunities.

My personal experiences with cord cutting and removing them have made a dramatic difference to my life.  I literally changed overnight in terms of groundedness and have been a lot happier since.

Meet Shannon, my cord expert. I am thrilled that the Universe sent her to me.  I want to share her expertise with you as I want the best for you.  I highly recommend doing this.

CHRISTMAS CALM

christmas-2017

The spirit of the holidays is gratitude and giving. For many of us, the holidays were magical in childhood, carefree times to be savored. But then we grew into hordes of harried adults, falling victim to the season’s high expectations. Holiday stress has become as much a tradition as the Christmas turkey.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year—but Christmas can be a very  stressful time of year.  For many the Christmas holiday period is a mass of complex social interactions with family or relatives, some of whom you may rather not see.

There could well be expectations, or at least perceived expectations, to create a ‘wonderful Christmas’ with presents and perhaps the most important meal of the year.

It’s very satisfying to offer support to the people we love, help out a neighbor, or do something positive for the community. But the conflict arises when we continually agree to things that please everyone but ourselves or when we commit to tasks for which we have no time or desire.

When you know your priorities, you can turn down the less important things. It’s easier to say ‘no’ if you know what you’re saying ‘yes’ to.

If festive entertaining leaves you frazzled, try a change of scenery. Refocus on what is important to you.

Seek a fresh perspective. Make a change. Take a task that drives you crazy during the holidays and tackle it in a new way. A fresh approach just might make a difference for your mind, body and soul.

Being in Italy, I gave up the celebrations and having to force-feed myself (there is no lack of endless food here) and checked into a Spa in the mountains. Best decision I made.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah or whatever you choose to celebrate, I send you love, joy and peace to manifest a beautiful 2017 and may the energy and vibration of peace, joy and abundance be with you.

NEW YEAR 2017 ENVISIONING

celebrate-yourself

As women, sometimes we tend accomplish something and then go on and say “what’s the next thing?” and do to the next thing and next thing. Instead of acknowledging “hey, wait a minute, I just did something awesome!” and give ourselves recognition and a pat on our back  for how far we have come.

Take a moment to think about what you have accomplished this year or even the last six months.  Do not be hard on yourself. You have grown.  Be proud of yourself.  You are not the same person you were at the beginning of the year.

∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞

Close your eye and go back, all the way back to the beginning of the year and see yourself.

  • What are you wearing?
  • What are you doing?
  • Look at yourself.

Now step inside her. Feel what it was like for her at the beginning of the year.

  • How were you feeling?
  • How were you looking?
  • What was going on for you at the beginning of year?

Hold this image and now ……….. let it go!

Now, move forward into the timeline of now.  Notice how you feel and the differences you see in yourself. Notice how you feel with your body, internally, how you look – notice the differences. Notice the jolt of happiness and inspiration and far you have come.

Notice all the beautiful things you have accomplished during this year.  Celebrate what you have achievedCelebrate yourself, SiStar!

Now, use this beautiful energy of being proud of yourself and write down everything you want to do and accomplish this coming year.

  • Make a dream list of your 2017 desires
  • Map out and plan for 2017

CLEANSING YOUR AURIC FIELD

Salt water is rich in minerals and its negative ions get into correlations with the positive ions in the body generating a beneficial effect. This Salt Water Cleanse is a powerful spiritual practice that fights against the negative energies and drains them out of your system.  Every time you are in a weakened state, you leave yourself opened to additional attacks by the negative (black) energy physically, emotionally and spiritually.

What’s most interesting with the salt water cleansing, you don’t have to waste your spiritual practice in counteracting the negative energies at all. On the contrary, it will help you realize your actual spiritual growth. You can perform the Salt Water Cleanse once a day or in cases of severe distress,  the cleanse can be repeated 2-3 times per day.

salt-water-cleanseYou may feel symptoms such as yawning, burping, warmth in eyes or ears, numbness in legs, sliminess on the immersed feet are signs of the negative energy coming out. After the 15 minutes of the Salt Water Cleanse, the water may become blackish in color, smelly or warmer due to negative frequencies that were escaping from your body.
